Symbol Guide for Assignment 3: Activity Diagram

The symbols that are required for this assignment are:

• Black dot - starting point or current state
• Oval with the action written inside - action box
• Diamond - decision box
• Black dot with grey circle around it - ending point of the end state
• Arrow - directional arrow

Note: An action or process box can also be rounded rectangle instead of an oval as it is easier to write the action in a rectangular box.
